MEB ESTABLISHES MONITORING GROUP FOR THE STUDENTS AFFECTED BY THE EARTHQUAKEMinister of National Education Mahmut Özer said that they formed the "Tracking and Monitoring Group for Students Affected by the Earthquake" to ensure the continuity of the education and training processes of the students who were transferred from the quake- provinces to other provinces.
Noting that the transfer of students from the disaster area to other provinces that are outside the region was carried out after the earthquake disaster particularly in Kahramanmaraş and the surrounding provinces, Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer stated that they took a new measure for these students.
Stating that it is necessary to meet the needs in order to ensure the continuity of the education and training processes of the transferred students without any disruption, and to establish a tracking and monitoring system for the students affected by the earthquake in the educational fields and processes Minister Özer announced that they formed "The Tracking and Monitoring Group for Students Affected by the Earthquake". Özer emphasized that with this monitoring group, it will be possible to visit schools with students transferred from the earthquake zone at certain periods, at least once a month, and to find solutions in cooperation with the relevant units to meet the needs.
Minister Özer noted that they will continue to make every effort to ensure that students have access to education by reuniting them with their schools.
