14th INTERNATIONAL MEB ROBOT CONTEST ENDS

The 14th International Ministry of National Education (MEB) Robot Contest organized in 12 categories in Şanlıurfa with the "Göbeklitepe" theme and "Ahican at the Zero Point of History" has ended.

Finalists of the Contest organized under the coordination of the Ministry of National Education in cooperation with the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK), Türkiye Technology Foundation (TEKNOFEST), the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) and ACROME competed on the last day of the organization.
 
5,435 students and teachers competed from Türkiye and 8 foreign countries with 2,453 robot projects in the four day contest organized " with the "Göbeklitepe" theme and "Ahican at the Zero Point of History".
 
Şanlıurfa Governor Salih Ayhan wished success to all participants during his speech at the closing ceremony.
 
Stressing that there are no losers in the contest, Governor Ayhan said, "There are many dimensions of this contest. In terms of education, it reveals that the Turkish education system has reached an important level in vocational education. We are more confident about the future when we see the projects of our students."
 
Meanwhile, Director General for Vocational and Technical Education Nazan Şener thanked all participants and stated that strong vocational education is a step for a stronger Türkiye.
 
Following the speeches, award winners of 12 categories of the contest received their awards.
