The Ministry of National Education continues to provide training support to people of all ages through public education centers. As a part of the lifelong learning program, the Ministry organizes training programs and courses at 996 public education centers around the country. 602,282 people have attended courses organized in January at 966 public education centers affiliated to the Ministry of National Education. 67% of those who attended courses were females.

Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer stated: "We are working in an effort to increase the capacity and quality of formal education services while organizing training programs for people of all ages at the 996 public education centers throughout the country. 67 percent of those who attended courses in January were females. Due to this reason, we are taking the needs of especially women into consideration while organizing training programs and courses."

Total of 484,041 people have attended the "Hygiene training program for those working in the food and water sector." Other most popular training programs were "computer operation", "Quran recital" and "English".

Those who attended and successfully completed training programs and courses at the public education centers can receive their certificates through e-State application.
