APRIL 23 GIFT TO OUR CHILDREN LIVING ABROAD

Audio Adventure Story Books which will allow children to progress their Turkish while reading the books with joy are available on EBA.

The Ministry of National Education continues to develop and share enjoyable education materials special to our children living abroad. 14 story books prepared in an effort to teach the Turkish language and Turkish culture to our children living abroad are included to the EBA digital library. Noting that these books are gifts to Turkish children living abroad on the occasion of April 23, Minister Ziya Selçuk called on all children to take a joyful journey in the EBA digital library.
 
Directorate General for the European Union and Foreign Affairs has prepared a set comprising 14 audio story books for bilingual Turkish children living abroad which will help them to progress their mother language.
 
8 level book compatible with Turkish and Turkish language learning materials are available in https://www.eba.gov.tr/dil-ogrenimi/turkce/hikaye-kitaplari.  
 
Audio books aim at encouraging children to enhance their Turkish reading habit and assist them to progress their Turkish language skills. Story books including cultural elements also provide information about our traditions, historical facts and religious and national holidays.
 
Stories written by Gazi University academician Assistant Professor Nazife Burcu Takıl is narrated by Gökben Çalışkan.
 
Stating that books are gifts to Turkish children living abroad on the occasion of April 23 Children's Day, Minister Selçuk said, "Dear children who are living and studying abroad, distance is not important as we have this special love bond. I call on you to visit our digital library that offers a nice journey to our country."
