According to the Regulation on the Amendment to the Special Education Services published in the Official Gazette, the education can be suspended in all or some of the private schools by the Ministry or the local administrative authority referring to the decision of the provincial sanitary board in case of epidemics, natural disasters, and unfavorable weather conditions affecting people's lives throughout the county.

 

In case of education break, distance education will be possible, but evaluation of students will not be based on grading method. 

 

Subjects that could not be taught through face to face education and remedial trainings for those subjects including weekends if it is necessary will be organized by the Ministry, school administrations, provincial and district directorate for national education. Remedial trainings will be organized in accordance with school degree and type. Students will not be assessed by grading method.

 

If education is suspended and only one semester score is available, the students' year-end score will be determined based on one semester score and all students will be considered to move up, except for those who need to repeat their classes because of absenteeism. However, students in special education schools and classes will be able to repeat the class in case of written requests of their parents.
