THANK YOU VISIT TO VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOLS

Deputy Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer visited the vocational high schools in İstanbul and thanked them for manufacturing the goods needed by the country during the Covid 19 pandemic crisis and delivering them to those in need. The Deputy Minister also inspected the preparations in the city for the upcoming High School Entrance Exams (LGS).

Deputy Minister of National Education Mahmut Özar visited the Rüştü Akın Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, the Küçükköy Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School and the Levent Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. Touching upon the contributions of the vocational and technical high schools during the fight against the coronavirus (Covid 19) pandemic said Turkey is now aware of what can be achieved with vocational training and is now acting accordingly.
 
Özer stated that teaches, students and administrators acted with team spirit and listened to the needs of the schools at their workshops from the school administrations and teachers. Deputy Minister Özer was accompanied by Provincial National Education Director Levent Yazısı and his deputies Serkan Gür and Zekine Dayıoğlu.
 
Deputy Minister Özer also attended the evaluation meeting to review the preparations for the upcoming High School Entrance Exams (LGS). The meeting at the Teachers Home at the Adile Sultan Palace Compound was chaired by Deputy Minister Özer and attended by the education sub-district directors in İstanbul. They discussed the preparations for the LGS. The meeting also reviewed the preparations for the 2020-2021 school year and the measures to be taken during the summer recess.
